• New journal from ITLS-Africa
  ITLS-Africa has started its own publication, the Journal of Transport and Supply Chain Management, which is the first of its kind in South Africa. The journal contains peer-reviewed articles by local and international transport and supply chain specialists, May 2009.

November

• Professor Hensher (Director, ITLS) gives Eminent Speaker presentation for Engineers Australia Brisbane, 27 November.

October

• Professor Hensher (Director, ITLS) gives plenary address on Hypothetical Bias, Stated Choice Studies and Willingness to Pay to European Transport Conference Noordwijkerhout, The Netherlands, 3 October.

• Professor Hensher (Director, ITLS) gives Eminent Speaker presentation on Road Pricing and Road Funding for Engineers Australia Melbourne, 21 August.

July

• Dr Corinne Mulley appointed as the founding Chair in Public Transport at ITLS, funded by the NSW government.

• Master of Logistics Management student Natalia Uribe (from Columbia) in conversation with Professor Sid Gray (Associate Dean International) in Sydney University World (PDF) magazine. "When I decided on Australia it was easy to chose Sydney. Not many universities in the world have our Logistics program. It's very well known - you can put it down in your CV!" Natalia Uribe.
